I like Branson’s quote. To deeply and authentically listen can take great courage. It can be challenging, even painful, to listen to beliefs with which we deeply disagree, that violate our values, and go against our fundamental beliefs about life or work. Yet without this level of listening, we cannot begin to understand others’ perspectives and why they hold those beliefs.
